In depth

Verdict

HARD BOUGHT (NAP) signalled an imminent victory with a good run here last month and made no mistake in testing conditions at Galway. He's only 4lb higher and can complete a quick double. Mr Boss Man's best runs have been over much further and though Mister Hotelier is well handicapped at his best it's a long time since he showed any sign of form. Little Stevie was a beaten favourite at Cork on Sunday when Cnoc Na Sioga was back in fifth, but Davy Russell's presence on Ronava suggests he could be fancied to run well. Asitsohappens hasn't runs since April and could have done without a 3lb rise for finishing third but Eiri Na Casca pops up every now and then and has to be respected.
