Verdict

ENERGUMENE, a winner between the flags, made a fair start in a Navan bumper in November and that should have brought him on eough for this. Jamie Codd teams up with Gordon Elliott on board Frontal Assault, who has a smart pedigree and should do better than he showed between the flags. Battle Of Actium ran quite well in a decent Punchestown bumper in November while Bloodstone was narrowly beaten at Ballynoe on his second point-to-point start. Pipers Meadow improved massively for his opening run while the four-year-old filly Aodhan May is related to several winners and is one to note in the market.
