Verdict

SHARPS CHOICE looked in need of the experience when runner-up here last month where he didn't get the hang of the job until too late. He'll improve and looks the one to beat. Mind's Eye, runner-up between the flags in February, gave supporters of the odds-on Brelade a fright at Naas and is another certain to make progress. Liz Doyle's newcomer One First Cut is a half-sister to a useful jumper while Ricchezza's dam has produced winners with her first two foals and was a winning bumper herself.
