Verdict
Winning point-to-pointer Grand Soir is proving to be a cracking staying hurdler having followed an impressive Kilbeggan victory by landing a better race convincingly at Cork. He's rated 6lb higher than L'OR DES ROSES (NAP) but the latter's fortunes have changed markedly since he's been allowed to stride on and he's been impressive in completing a double. He tackles this trip for the first time but looks the one to beat. Not much went right for Level Neverending when well beaten at Killarney while Starzov hasn't made much progress and the remaining pair have plenty to find.
