Choungaya, a very smart hurdler, looked a potentially top chaser when narrowly beaten by Tornado Flyer at Naas a year ago but didn't make the expected progress though performed in strong company. Eurobot, a winning point-to-pointer and hurdler, made a very encouraging chasing bow at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and runner-up Early Doors, who was just in front, later won the Galway Plate. Fully Charged has also won between the flags and over timber though the best hurdles form belongs to SAMS PROFILE. Runner-up in Grade 1's at Naas and Punchestown early last year, he has a long absence to overcome but has always looked likely to do better over fences. Lord Royal is another potentially useful type having won a Clonmel maiden hurdle by a distance before a close third in a Punchestown Grade 3
