Verdict
Mr Fred Rogers won a 2m5f Punchestown maiden and was elevated into Group 2 company at Navan where he made too many mistakes behind a very smart pair. He should find this less daunting and Shane Fitzgerald's claim is a major plus. Mythical Hero's neck victory at Cork was achieved over 2m but Coastal World won over 2m6f at Ballinrobe and was up against a couple of in-form rivals over this track and trip next time. NELL'S WELL, a maiden winner over 2m4f in October, relished the step up to this trip in a Cork Grade 3 where she won comfortably. Her rider couldn't claim his 7lb allowance that day but can here and a follow-up looks on the cards. Quaker Island has shown little in handicaps since landing a Wexford maiden over this trip.
