Dual winning bumper and hurdler Cadspeed became very disappointing over fences last season though his overall form, especially when falling at the last when a long way clear at Clonmel, would see him difficult to beat. Ruby has chosen him over Local Celebrity, who has a similar profile but was beaten a long way when runner-up on his reappearance at Punchestown. Starkie started out well over hurdles and though unable to cope when stepped up in class he's bred for chasing and should do better. TRIFOLIUM had high-class form over hurdles to his credit last year where his victories include a Grade 2 at Punchestown. He finished a very close third to Cinders And Ashes in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham and though not seen since December and making his chasing debut his trainer will have him right and he gets the vote.
