In depth

Verdict

Mrs Mac Veale scored over 2m4f here last month and made virtually all when dropping back to the minimum at Wexford a couple of weeks later. She's only been raised 1lb which looks lenient and she's certain to make a bold bid. However, KILCARRY BRIDGE beat her easily enough at Ballinrobe in May and, providing he handles the testing ground, looks weighted to take this after three solid runs over fences. Is Herself About had a decent spell over fences in the spring and has reverted to hurdling in excellent form though she was fortunate to score at Cork when left clear at the last. Moreece is still a maiden after 17 career starts but ran her best race to date behind Glenquest at Navan and would be an obvious threat if staging a repeat. Shadow Catcher takes a drop in class and won't mind the conditions while Luke's Benefit could go well at a big price from his lowly mark.
