In depth

Verdict

Jim Will Fix It won a novice hurdle at Ballinrobe before a moderate effort in a Grade 3 at Tipperary and makes his debut over fences. Rathlin, runner-up in a Grade 2 over timber in April, showed little on his chasing debut but made progress on his second start when coming up against a potentially useful performer in Popcorn though he will need to brush up his jumping. The latter's trainer, Willie Mullins, is represented here by BISHOPSFURZE, a very progressive hurdler whose pedigree suggests he will do better over fences - he can make a winning debut. Wilde Wit Pleasure made a promising chasing bow behind Donnas Palm at Wexford and came up against a couple of decent performers at Limerick subsequently. Awkward Moment will have come on for his first run over fences at Down Royal and looks best of the remainder.
