Verdict

Clifton Warrior showed some promise in a Punchestown bumper before pulling up between the flags and has joined Henry De Bromhead but TURKESTAN (NAP), though having had seven runs over hurdles, keeps improving. Narrowly beaten in the last three, including when failing by a short-head to concede Born To Rule 7lb at Ballinrobe, he won't get many better chances. Doyen Rose was beaten a long way into second at Down Royal but should improve while Amazing Amy has a nice pedigree and this isn't the toughest of starts.
