In depth

Verdict

Lord Of Lords will attract support despite an absence of almost a year as he won a Navan bumper by a distance on his racecourse debut before a fair debut over timber last December. However, he has 13lb to concede to DER KAISER including jockey claim and that may prove beyond him at this stage as the latter, a winning point-to-pointer, ran a cracking race behind Bendanella over timber at Wexford last month. Oscar Chimes looks a big threat as he led for much of the way before fading behind the promising Faugheen at Punchestown and this shorter trip looks certain to suit. Sir Harry Cash has been going well in handicaps but has a career strike-rate of 0-23 which doesn't inspire confidence and Stoney was disappointing when fancied at Fairyhouse three weeks ago.
