Verdict

Three-times Flat winner Tirmizi hasn't been placed in three starts over hurdles but is the type to do better this summer. Mrs Underwood battled to a narrow victory in a Wexford bumper but was well beaten on her only hurdles start. ACCIDENTAL REBEL was having only her second start following a long break when placed at Wexford and wouldn't need much more here while Lonesome Boatman was noted staying on over 2m in a Punchestown maiden. Summer Tide has shown some potential and the market should be watched while Son Of Mahler only weakened in the closing stages over 3m at Clonmel. Listening Mode had his first start over 2m6f at Navan and ran easily his best race to date.
