In depth

Verdict

Celestial Prospect was having only his second run since last August when runner-up to Railway Zira in a similar race to this at Roscommon in June but the winner hasn't enhanced the form. Don Vincenzo won over hurdles at Downpatrick before a very encouraging chasing debut behind Gold Patrol on the same track while Georges Conn showed that his fall at Listowel hadn't affected him with a very good run behind Jarob at Navan. WAAHEB (NAP) has had three runs over fences and unshipped his rider in two of them. He finished third behind Shantou Flyer at Galway in the other and the winner boosted the form by landing a better race at Sligo last week. Dermot Weld's charge should be good enough if managing to complete the course.
