Verdict

This isn't the strongest of bumpers so any money for Robbie McNamara's mount Paper Lantern on his debut should be duly noted. Patrick Mullins is on board Roi Des Francs, who ran well when third in a Killarney bumper last May but hasn't been seen since disappointing between the flags in November. Carrickcloughanboy ran reasonably well behind Rathmuck Native at Downpatrick and should improve but Jamie Codd's presence on board the winning point-to-pointer CASTLEBEACH KING may just tip the balance towards Alice Curran's charge, who has shown some potential in his two bumper runs. Nina Carberry's mount Gaius Marius can do best of the remainder.
