In depth

Verdict

Beckwith Place has the best form of those with experience having run very well behind the odds-on Saracen Knight at Gowran in October. He should certainly improve this campaign though faces a couple of nicely-bred newcomers. The four-year-old Charcor is by Choisir and should have the pace to get competitive on his belated debut though MAYAADEEN should be up to winning in this class if living up to is pedigree. He cost €750,000 and is the fifth foal of a mare who has produced winners with all of her first four offspring including Group 2 winner Cable Bay. Cascella got going too late over a mile at Limerick and may need further.
