This looks more competitive than the first division with several arriving in form. They include the veteran Marshim, who is 6lb higher after gaining his second victory on the track on fast ground last month and Foolish Notions, who couldn't quite get to Roman Numeral over 2m at Tramore. The latter will be better over this trip as will winning point-to-pointer Hard Bought, a winner at Clonmel in October and a decent fourth on his return to action at Cork last month. REDWOOD BOY made his handicap debut at Kilbeggan last month and was noted putting in some strong late work over the minimum trip. He has more scope than most of his rivals and is given the nod.
