      Verdict

Tar Heel couldn't get close to Chief Little Hawk at Navan but wasn't beaten far and the winner didn't run badly in the Windsor Castle on Wednesday. SWISS ACE cost 400,000gns and is related to numerous winners including Group 3 winners Swiss Spirit and Swiss Diva. He can start repaying some of the outlay here. Tabarly is by first-season sire French Navy, a prolific winner at around 7f while Lightning Boltz is out of a very speedily-bred mare. Brokers Tip showed good speed before fading inside the final furlong behind Admiral Nelson at the Curragh.
