      Verdict

      ESKIMO is certain to start a short-priced favourite after his opening run behind stablemate Jackaroo at Gowran where he attempted to make all but showed his inexperience when headed over 1f out. Noble Call finished over eight lengths back in sixth and is unlikely to reverse the form while The Little Dazzler and Unlikely Hero need to make major progress to take on the Ballydoyle colt. The main threat may come from David Wachman's newcomer Griffin, a half-brother to the classic winner Ashkalani and out of a winning French miler.
