Verdict
PIQUE SOUS, a close third to stablemate Champagne Fever in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham, returned to winning form with a comfortable success at Bellewstown and can hardly be opposed here. Reafadda made a winning debut when beating a big field over this trip at Clonmel and reverts to bumpers after a fair run on his hurdling debut at Roscommon. He can give the favourite a race getting 10lb including his rider's claim. Rivergod is bred for the Flat and may have enough pace to do best of the remainder.
