Verdict
GORSKY ISLAND should have a future over fences judged on his fourth at Exeter and is preferred to Shady Lane, who fell when joint favourite for a handicap at Wincanton in March on her fencing bow and may be in need of a confidence-booster. June French was beaten less than a length at Plumpton last month and Crazy Jack has won a point-to-point but the others have a lot to prove.
