Verdict
Eaton Rock will probably be favourite on the strength of his second at Huntingdon but that form is nothing special and he does most of his racing over longer trips than this. GORING TWO is in the veteran stage now but he thrives in the mud and this stiff course should suit his style of running. Edgar has barely raised a gallop in two runs since returning from a break while Deise Vu has his first run since well beaten at Southwell in October.
