Verdict
Emma Lavelle has been sending out a few winners recently and could have another here in the form of CHUQUICAMATA but in competitive event will have Superrollercoaster and Gerrard for close company. The selection has looked progressive this season and is unexposed enough to improve further. He's already looking a better chaser than hurdler and found just one too good in a similar race last time. He got bumped late on in that contest which may have accounted for his winning chances and he is set fair to go well again. Superrollercoaster is a versatile sort who goes on most ground and took a good going handicap over course and distance last time. He only won by half a length so his six pound mark rise looks tough enough but he did win a weak Folkestone contest in December off a higher rating. Gerrard also claimed a good ground handicap last time over course and distance and while again his new higher rating is within his scope the ground maybe too quick. It would appear that these days Tradingup is more suited by a bigger stamina test but at least is running well again while Jacarado is weighted to challenge at a bigger price. This is competitive in the extreme and Chuquicamata has the selection.
