HAREFIELD was upsides a subsequent winner when falling at the last at Plumpton. He was a fairly comfortable winner at Warwick the time before and still has plenty of scope so makes more appeal than Delire D'estruval, who did win a Listed race over 2m on heavy going at Haydock in November but doesn’t appear to stay much further and may not enjoy the stiff uphill finish here. The others are probably playing for places but Rebel Royal is worth a second look on his hurdling debut as he has a superb pedigree for jumping.
