      Verdict

VICTRIX GALE strolled home over today's trip at Folkestone earlier this month and doesn't look to have anything to fear from today's rivals, including My Viking Bay, who finished a long way behind her in second last time. Genny Wren has placed form to suggest she could prove best of the rest, unless point-to-point winner Mrs Peacock turns out to be something special on her first start under Rules. Francesa showed a slight improvement last time, but bumper winner Tazzarine never figured on her hurdling bow at Taunton in December.
