Verdict

Mountain Tunes was AP McCoy's 4,000th winner here six weeks ago but had to be carried over the line and is no certainty to follow up today under a penalty against stiffer opposition. Ashes House, already successful in a point-to-point and a bumper, got off the mark over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month and looks a nice prospect. But we were impressed by the way KNOCKANRAWLEY travelled and stayed on well to get the better of Silver Eagle here on his hurdling debut after meeting trouble in-running - he can score again. Castle Cheetah has been successful between the flags but hasn't raced for a year and Broadway Symphony is trying a new trip.
