The second race on the card is a seven runner affair with plenty of dead wood entered. The race seems to revolve around Tim Vaughan's runner, ZAFAR, and if he takes to fences. He was just about the highest rated of these over hurdles and if fit and ready he should take this event. He was quite decent on the flat as his rating of 77 suggests but connections always felt chasing would be his game, anything he achieved over hurdles was just going to be a bonus. He did achieve over the smaller obstacles as he won three novice hurdles on the bounce. So if taking to fences on the first time of asking, he could out class this field. Wessex King will prove tough to beat though and this is his easiest assignment for a while now. He mad a very encouraging debut over fences behind King Edmund who won again yesterday and truth be told is probably a safer bet then the Vaughan horse. Today's task represents a step down in class and if enjoying his previous start over fences should go close. Noticeable and Beherayn should be monitored but have a bit to find with the above two mentioned
