Verdict
CLASSIC FLY is the percentage call in an open race where Vincenzio and Ishismart make the short-list. The selection has been in a rich vein of form lately but remains fairly treated on the best of his old form and has leading claims as a result providing that he copes with this track. Ishismart has had a run on the level since winning impressively at Uttoxeter and remains in decent form but an 11lb rise for her recent win appears to be a little draconian. The booking of Oliver Greenall for handicap newcomer Vincenzio takes the eye and Charles Egerton's charge would have finished closer at Huntingdon but for meeting with interference; he may well fare better here. Blast The Past has slipped to a fair mark if she can recapture her form whilst Don't Think Twice is amongst many in the race that are worth considering if the market gives out the right vibes but we'll play it safe with Classic Fly.
