Verdict

Ericas Charm looks the one to beat here with Billyandi and Principe Azzurro the others to consider. The selection is an improving mare who has won each of her last two starts. She scored despite making a bad mistake last time and she looks like one to stay on the right side of at present. If she handles this testing ground then she will take plenty of beating. Billyandi is a course and distance winner and he will relish these testing conditions. His yard have gone off the boil of late but he still holds solid claims and will not be far away at the finish. Principe Azzurro is another who will love the ground but he has been off the track since March and he may just need the run today. Flintoff would be an appropriate winner at present but he hasn't been seen out for nearly a year and he should strip fitter for this. We are therefore happy to return to Ericas Charm as our choice to lead them home.
