Verdict
A modest seller in which Friendly Fellow can get the better of Erin Alley and Fire Ranger. Its not too often that David Johnson drops his horses so low in class and while Friendly Fellow has only made the frame once in six starts; there is every reason to suggest that he possesses too much class for a number of exposed rivals. Erin Alley is an exposed chaser who would probably prefer more cut in the ground while Fire Ranger ran well enough at Exeter to suggest that a success at this level is not beyond her. The Fenman is a long standing maiden after eighteen starts. The remainder look difficult to fancy without any clues from the betting ring, Friendly Fellow gets the verdict.
