THE FERBANE MAN has a wealth of experience from his days in on the Irish point-to-point scene and will take some stopping; even if Kilvergan Boy and Lonesome Boatman can manage to up the ante today. The last named has ability and seems capable of paying his way. This small field make help him keep his mind on the job and bold show from Charlie Huxley's mount cannot be ruled out. Kilvergan Boy can be a reticent character and the manner in which he downed tools last time out is very off-putting. It's difficult to gauge whether he is better with or without the blinkers on theses days; so he may be a risky proposition until showing more interest in the game. Benmore Boy has a shocking completion rate and is also difficult to enthuse about with any real confidence. He did win at this course in February but takes his chance on much firmer ground, so looks opposable on the evidence available. Therefore, with all things taken into account it's very difficult to see past The Ferbane Man as the one to be on here.
