Verdict

Red Whisper beat Beauchamp Viking by three-quarters-of-a-length over course and distance at the start of the month but Hugo Froud's charge is a couple of pounds better off so there shouldn't be much between the pair today. Grand Article won over course and distance in November but weakened quickly over further here last month following a break and has a bit to prove now. IVANS BACK was no match for hot favourite Sgt Reckless on his chasing bow but finished clear of the remainder. He should improve for the experience and can get off the mark over fences here.
