In depth

Verdict

Badgers Cove slipped up when in contention here on his penultimate start but was beaten a long way from home when fourth at Chepstow last time. This looks easier but Robin Dickin's charge has still to prove he's fully recovered from serious injury so SYDNEY PAGET looks the one to be on. He fell on his chasing bow at Kelso but jumped much better when second at Musselburgh earlier this month and the longer trip here will suit. Bravo Riquet has won between the flags and over hurdles and looks best of the rest ahead of the disappointing Finnegan Paddy.
