In depth

Verdict

The performance of Federici earlier in the day will point to the chances of Sacre Malta, who was narrowly beaten by him at Limerick on Sunday. Kylecrue scored over timber at Clonmel before landing a Downpatrick chase and can run from a 10lb lower rating here so isn't badly treated despite his big weight. BANK BONUS, a winner on the Flat for Andrew Balding, is showing his first signs of form for new connections and with trip and conditions certain to suit he looks the one to be on. Sarah Battle needs a thorough test of stamina which she should get here so has to be a threat.
