Knockraha Boss won this last year from 8lb lower but was well beaten at Limerick Wednesday. SHAKEYTRY ended last season beating Conright Boy in a Wexford Handicap over fences and will have needed his comeback behind that winner over hurdles at Cork. He can concede weight all round as Silk Worm has won a bumper around here but has been a beaten favourite in three of her last four starts over timber. Colonel Lesley won over the track and trip in October so has to be respected despite a couple of moderate subsequent runs. Saol Iontach is still a maiden after 17 starts but has slipped to a winnable mark as a consequence while the lightly-raced Coole Arcade would come into the reckoning if getting a run from his reserve spot.
