MR PICOTEE has been running really well and has only just failed to concede lumps of weight in his two most recent starts. He could have done without a 3lb rise but can gain reward for his consistency though Drakaina will be no pushover. Paul Power's mare was in very good form for most of last summer culminating in a victory at Limerick in October and she'll have come on for last month's run at Clonmel. Schmidt returned after a break to run very well behind Tornado Watch at Kilbeggan and that was only his sixth start so he's entitled to make further progress. His stable companion Little Folke won a maiden here last April and her latest run was over fences so she's one to note with her young rider's claim a bonus.
