Verdict
Buck A Trend has a couple of seconds in similar events and ought to go close again but SMITTY BACALL has been just as consistent to date and his two-length defeat at Clonmel last time is the best form on offer here. Like a number of these, Be My Dan and Welmeetintheoffice have shown little so far, but winning pointer Steelambition may be worth a look on his hurdle debut along with newcomer Star Of Oscar. It could also pay to give Redwood Castle another chance on his second outing for a new stable.
