Verdict
Steppenwolf landed a 20/1 surprise when putting a sequence of indifferent runs behind him to land a Clonmel handicap. He's now off a notably higher mark and is up 9lb. His claims are evident if in similar form or indeed progressing again. Garcon Doux is hard to assess as his form is erratic but he'd be a player on a going day. KELLS PRIORY makes most appeal though as he's become a reliable and consistent handicapper this term and Louise Lyons enjoys a nice strike rate with her select string. Kingston Retreat is respected and everything about Rose Of Kalanisi suggests she's been waiting for handicaps. She'd be really interesting if the subject of major support.
