Alaroos finished half-a-length ahead of RIVER RAIN at Galway but Joseph O’Brien’s filly didn’t really get the run of the race that day and would probably had finished much closer had she enjoyed a clear passage. Though there should be little between the pair again, the placings might be reversed today. Daylight Dancer, a half-sister to five winners, is definitely worth a market check but Raving Royal needs to bounce back from a poor run at Bellewstown. Zawahir might be progressing and looks the pick of the remainder.
