Verdict

Triumphant, runner-up to Camelot in a Group 3 at the Curragh last May, has shown little over hurdles so far nor has dual bumper winner It's All An Act. Drunken Counsel won a Clonmel bumper in February and was well supported when returning to hurdles at Navan last month but weakened very quickly from two out. Makethedifference has performed with credit in a couple of handicaps recently so looks a threat to all but the vote goes to TOBAR NA GAOISE. Edward O'Grady's charge has had little racing over the past couple of years and will have needed last month's run at Navan after a year off but his earlier form entitles him to the greatest respect and he's young enough to start making up for lost time.
