In depth

Verdict

GENERALISATION ran well for a long way at Thurles before fading in the closing stages and this doesn’t look a strong contest. He may prove good enough while Longfordwood Lad ran better on his earlier debut at Punchestown than he did at Thurles last time. Patriciadplasterer will appreciate this return to a shorter trip and Dunbar should know more today on only his second start over timber. Dayereh wasn’t beaten far on last year’s hurdling bow and is fit from racing on the Flat while the newcomer Askthebossman is related to a winning hurdler.
