Verdict

SHAMAR looked potentially very useful when completing a double at Cork and Killarney and time will probably tell he ran a superb race when just failing to concede 10lb to Que Pasa at Galway. He should have few problems getting back to winning ways here as Lord Ben appeared to have a hard race over fences here on Thursday and will be having his first start over timber since last April. King High won a handicap hurdle at Sligo before beaten a long way on the same track and looks much better than the chaser Venture Lazarus, who has never run over hurdles.
