Verdict

Empresario tackles hurdles for the first time and could find it tough with his penalty for winning on the Flat. Henry De Bromhead is double-handed and Templeton looks better than the ex-point-to-pointer Wilde Sapphire at this stage as he showed some promise on his chasing debut at this track on Thursday after several decent efforts over timber. I C Gold produced one good run at Wexford last October but hasn't been seen since the following month so it's BRIDGEQUARTER GIRL who is given the nod. She ran easily her best race to date behind Pepparpot at Cork a couple of weeks ago and, with further progress likely, can go one better.
