BARABOY could provide the answer to a modest opener. He’s only 3lb higher than when successful over course and distance last summer and he has Lorcan Murtagh’s claim in his favour. Glimpse Of Gold is 0-9 over hurdles and has been a beaten favourite the last twice while all of Edward Elgar’s victories over timber have come in sellers. Orthodox Lad was beaten when falling at Chepstow nine days ago but he can’t get much lower in the weights so could figure. Fiddler's Flight, however, was well behind the selection at Sedgefield in February.
