Verdict

Discounting outsider Good Friday Fairy, only six pounds separates these in the ratings. The Newest One is getting 7lb from the four previous winners so looks a threat to all but SPORTING ACE is another who wouldn’t be winning out of turn and he’s certain to handle conditions. Mexico steps up in trip but Top Target won over 3m between the flags and Mr Vango can probably be excused his latest run in a Grade 2 at Haydock.
