    Verdict

The handicapper hosed no mercy to Liscahill Karella after he won by 15 lengths at Bangor and Daniel Loughnane's gelding has struggled since. GRACEFUL DESCENT didn't beat much at Hexham in May but followed that up with a fair run on the Flat 17 days ago and could easily be good enough in a modest finale. South Stack is 11lb higher than when completing a double at Towcester and Exeter in the spring but Felix Da Housecat will strip fitter for his run over 2m here last month and Ironical was second at Worcester on his latest start. Douglas only won a seller at Cartmel however.
