In depth
Verdict
Salsalino, Wiscalitus and Say What You See look the more promising recruits on offer here and we stick with the former. Alan King's prominence in the novice hurdling ranks can be advertised again with this decent flat handicapper and on the evidence of his fourth in the Ebor last year, he should have few problems in handling this two miles. Wiscalitus was not extended in landing a prize at Market Rasen. He will need to learn how to settle in his races before we see the best of him but there are certainly races to be won. Say What You See was bought for a syndicate for a fair price recently. Best over a mile for John Hills, it is likely that he will be popped out early in his quest for this race. La Dolfina had decent form for Hughie Morrison and has now joined Philip Hobbs. Her sex allowance puts her in here off a very light weight. Today represents a step up in grade for Debbie while Golano had bits and pieces of form on the flat and should be well forward. A good race in prospect but it is difficult to get away from Salsalino as the class act in the race.
