In depth

Verdict

In the bumper, Just Amazing is selected ahead of Kayf Diamond and Timaquan Warrior. Carruthers, who was bred by Lord Oaksey, has likeable breeding, as does Charge It, who races for Jonjo O'Neill. The Nicky Henderson-trained Dave's Dream cost 23,000 euros and the Paul Nicholls-trained Just Amazing cost 45,000 guineas and has to be given every chance from his powerful yard. Alan King has his stable in good heart still and his runner, Kayf Diamond, cost 68,000 guineas. Marbury Boy showed some promise on his Wincanton debut, while Alan King also runs two other horses, including the 55,000 euros acquisition, Timaquan Warrior. Finally, Vilcabamba is another with decent breeding in a race that holds plenty of interest. Our selection, once again, is Just Amazing.
