Verdict
A wide open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Croc An Oir,Shady Grey, Golfagent and Spike And Drivel and the confident vote is given to Croc On Oir. The selection won well last time out when beating Knockdoo and although he has a penalty for that win he is still well in over hurdles compares to his chasing mark and under his optimum conditions he is taken to win again. Shady Grey rates the main danger on her latest second behind Topenberry but she has yet to prove she stays this far and for that reason she is opposed. Golfagent is another with place claims on his best form but he gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip when well behind Herne Bay last time and for that reason he is opposed. Spike And Divle is another with place claims on his best form but he is far from consistent so can not be put forward with any confidence and in a race that contains plenty of dead wood for the winner we return to Croc On Oir.
