The Last Bridge has mainly been chasing lately but is only 4lb higher than when scoring over timber at Taunton just over a year ago. Young Lou is lightly raced and could feature if fully wound-up while W Six Times was third at Chepstow last month, though still beaten almost 20 lengths. COMICAL RED has been raised 7lb since winning a better race at Newton Abbot in March but Paul John's claim takes care of that and Mark Gillard's stayer is hard to oppose today.
