Present Chief is 0-8 over fences and Cremant has been equally frustrating to follow, though has placed in five of seven starts over the larger obstacles so far. Carlo Du Berlais is one of several interesting recruits to chasing but WILLIAM EWART has been in better form over hurdles and he won’t fail through lack of fitness. Galante De Romay is also worth a second look and Whataboutyeh, who landed a gamble over timber at Southwell eight days ago, should make a chaser having already won between the flags.
